The core business of Aviation Metalcraft is the manufacture of aircraft components. We are not a general engineering sub-contractor occasionally producing parts for the home builder. We have an excellent working knowledge of the manufacturing techniques appropriate to aircraft component production necessary to provide a service which is second to none in the UK and Europe.
As part of our service we provide a quality control document with each order. It is a requirement of the Popular Flying Association that a document which relates materials and processes to every component is retained by the builder. We provide copies of material release notes and/or certificates of conformity and welding/process certificates. If a process is unavailable to us in-house, carefully selected (frequently CAA Approved) sub-contract organisations are used. The quality throughout all manufacturing processes is thus guaranteed and traceability can be demonstrated. The builder can therefore be assured that he is using only the very best components.
